This weekend was General Conference weekend, and it was beautiful weather! The boys both lost their football games, but that's ok.
Last night, R took CR and J to the priesthood session. J will be 12 in just 2 weeks or so! So exciting! While they were gone, the other kids and I rented Marmaduke from the redbox, and got dinner from McDonalds. We set up a picnic in the living room, which is quite the treat. We don't ever allow eating in the living room. :) the boys and R went out with my dad and brother after the priesthood session.
Today between conference sessions, we went for a drive over Guardsmans Pass... You know... The breaking in ritual for our new car. Ray always has to take care of that! Then, after the last session, we headed over to my dad's for a bar-b-q with some of my brothers and my "adopted" sister and her family. The kids went to gather eggs and feed the chickens with grandpa. Then, we took a walk to see the horses and the kids all got to have a ride on Dottie. They loved that! What a fun night!

Last night WAS fun. Glad we're starting the tradition of getting together once a month.
Love your new vehicle as well. Now I feel totally lame being the only one that drives a van still. :)
